STEPHANIE CHING
Project Team Leader
"If you are a woman and want to become an engineer, don't let fear of discrimination hold you back; there are a lot of companies out there willing to empower women to thrive."
Meet Stephanie Ching, an exceptional Electrical Engineer and Project Team Lead at Plan Group, who embodies the spirit of this day.
From a young age, Stephanie's fascination with building houses and cities through games paved the way for her future endeavours. As she went through school, her love for engineering grew stronger, guiding her toward the path she was destined to follow.
Despite her family's strong ties to the healthcare industry, Stephanie fearlessly chose a different career path. Yet, her work in engineering constantly connects her with medical institutions. Her first big project was at the Humber River Hospital, and right now, she's busy bringing the New Saint Paul Hospital to life.
Stephanie's story exemplifies how passion, determination, and embracing challenges can lead to amazing things. It reminds us that International Women in Engineering Day is not just about celebration but also a reminder that gender should never be a barrier to success in any field.
Happy International Women in Engineering to all the fantastic female professionals in engineering— the trailblazers who have paved the way and the future generations yet to come!
